For the Artist who desires a direct encounter with the Primaeval Nymph, the domain of his Daimōn, and artistic immortality.
The invitation called to one whose daimōn recognised Himself in the rites.
To evoke his initiation,
She challenged him to return,
Before the descent of the mid-winter sun,
With a single intimate act:
A symbolic offering – an artwork created by him, in any medium,
Stirred by the daimōn within him.
By this embodied enactment,
He would have revealed his presence to her.
And She would have unveiled the place for Him to come in person.
